Panaxeo is a Slovak company founded in 2019 by Igor Liška and Adam Okruhlica. With their software development experience from smaller companies and large corporates, they decided to launch their own. A company, in which they themselves would love to work. For developers, by developers. They wanted to work on meaningful projects, without useless bureaucracy, freely and flexibly from anywhere in the world.
In 2023, Panaxeo is more than 70 experienced developers. Its clients are in the fintech, medtech, media, and other areas. In 2022, Panaxeo reached a turnover of EUR 3.8 mil, meaning an over 100% growth.

Societal Impact
Panaxeo focuses on projects that impact the society in a positive way. (CancerIQ, Medrio, Eyewitness to Attrocities, Radio Free Europe/RadioLiberty a others.)
We adhere to a strict Code of Ethics. We refuse work with clients operating in areas we deem harmful. Examples are gambling, addictive algorithms, the weapons industry, etc.
In order to increase our societal impact, we donate EUR 0.20 for every hour worked on every project that we do not consider “Impactful” (nevertheless, not harmful).
When picking a non-profit organization to donate to, we adhere to the effective altruism principles – maximalising our impact by picking the most effective origanisations.
In 2022, we donated EUR 7,807, which has made malaria treatment accessible for 4,800 children and saved one life.
